Experience of First Fiber-net Internet Connection:

I bought router "TP-LINK TL-WR841N 300Mbps Wireless N Router" from Flipkart. I bought this router during 'Big Billion Days', so it cost me for 900 ₹. Otherwise, normally cost is around 1050 or above. Though It took around 10 days to arrive :P .

Now comes the connection part, In Bengaluru, ACT is the best in internet connection. So I chose to go with ACT connection. So, First I registered for the connection on their web-site. It took only 5-10 minutes.
Then next day, one guy called me to confirm my registration. He asked me, when I will be available at home to fill the registration form. Then he came on the same day evening to fill the registration form, following that payments and all other formalities were done.
Next day, Two guys came for wiring and router installation work. It took only 15-20 minutes. They set the network name and password for the same. After 2-3 hours I was able to see ACT fibernet home page on my device, but it was asking username and password. that I didn't have because last step of verification was left .

On the same day, I got a call from ACT service center for details verification, which I had given during registration. Then after verification, I got my username and password. Using that I logged in to ACT fibernet connection. and Yipeeeeee.... , now I was able to access internet.

This is, how I got my internet connection. :) :)

How to Cancel train ticket Partially on IRCTC

I am going to write about the procedure of cancelling a train ticket online. Here I will cancel for one seat among 3 seats. After that, money gets refunded in few days. For me it took around 1 week.

Step1 : Login to your irctc account from which you have booked your ticket.

following is the login link:

https://www.irctc.co.in/eticketing/loginHome.jsf

Step2 : Go to 'My Transaction' link same as the below picture, (which is at the left upper corner of the page):

Step 3: Now click on 'Booked Ticket History' as shown in below picture:

Step 3: Now select which ticket do you want to cancel.

Step 4: Now, it will look like below after selection:

Step 5: Now click on 'Cancel Ticket' button.

Step 6: Then a new pop up window will appear. In which all the seats details will be visible. Among them, whichever seat you want to cancel , just select that seat and click on 'Cancel Ticket' button.

Step 7: After clicking 'Cancel Ticket' button, a new confirmation window will pop up. Just click on OK button.

Step 8: Congratulations..!! You have done. You will see cancelled ticket information:

here CAN means cancelled ticket.

HOW TO DEACTIVATE FACEBOOK ACCOUNT

You are using facebook very much and you are sort of addicted to using and scrolling the facebook feed. Because of this, you might not be able to concentrate on your other useful work or study. So, now you have decided to just get rid of the facebook temporarily for some time. So, here facebook provides us a very nice feature to deactivate our account for sometime.

Also, it gets activated as soon as we try to login again with our facebook login credentials. So, in this post I have explained you the steps required to deactivate your facebook account temporarily.

First and foremost, of course you will have to sign in to your facebook account.

Step 1:There will be one down arrow on the top right corner when you are logged in to your facebook account on some computer/desktop. Now, you have to click on this down arrow. This is shown in the below figure:

Step 2:After clicking on the down arrow, a drop down list will get open like below image. In that drop down you must be seeing a 'Settings' button, now you will have to click on 'Settings' in that:

Step 3: After clicking on 'Settings', a new page will get open. In this page you will see 'Security' in the left side of the page. Now you need to click on this security button.

Now on the right side, there will be an option of 'Deactivate your account'. In this you will have to click on 'Edit'.

Step 4: After clicking on 'Edit' , a new prompt will get open, now you need to click on 'Deactivate your account'.

Step 5: Here, You will be asked to enter your facebook account password. So enter your account password and click on 'Confirm' button. This is shown in the below image for illustration.

Step 6: After confirming your password, you will be asked for the reason to deactivate the account. (This is just like a feedback or information purpose). Select appropriate option and click on Deactivate button.

Congratulations!! You have deactivated your facebook account. Now, you can be more focused on your work or study, what ever it is. :)

Cut Off Marks for AIPMT 2015

AIPMT CUT-OFF MARKS MBBS AND BDS

On 25th July- 2015, AIPMT-2015 (Re-Test) was conducted for entrance into state and national level medical colleges for MBBS, BDS courses.

1. MBBS:

Cut off marks for AIPMT 2015 for getting admission in government college for MBBS was 506 (out of 720). Cut-off Marks under Rajasthan state quota was 504 for Jhalawar Medical College.

2. BDS:
I am not very sure for bds cut-off but it was near about 497 (out of 720).

AIPMT-2016

All India Pre Medical Entrance Exam is a national level exam which is organized by the CBSE for undergraduate students who want to take admission in MBBS and BDS. Seats in colleges will be filled according to the ranks obtained in the exam. Only qualified students can get admission in Government medical and dental colleges of India.

HOW TO INSTALL NORTHWIND DATABASE IN SQL SERVER MANAGEMENT STUDIO 2008

Step1:

Download Northwind and pubs sample database from the below link:

Step 2: Run and Install this downloaded application.

Step 3: Now Northwind and pubs databases will be shown like below :-

Step 4: Now open SQL Server Management Studio:

Step 5: Go to File -> open -> file... in SQL Server Management Studio.

Step 6: Now open the file 'instnwnd.sql' present in the folder ---> "C:\SQL Server 2000 Sample Databases".

Step 7: Now execute this file.

Step 8: Now run another query ->

use Northwind

Step 9: It is done. Now you can see in the list of databases, Northwind is listed there.
