HOW TO DEACTIVATE FACEBOOK ACCOUNT
You are using facebook very much and you are sort of addicted to using and scrolling the facebook feed. Because of this, you might not be able to concentrate on your other useful work or study. So, now you have decided to just get rid of the facebook temporarily for some time. So, here facebook provides us a very nice feature to deactivate our account for sometime.
Also, it gets activated as soon as we try to login again with our facebook login credentials. So, in this post I have explained you the steps required to deactivate your facebook account temporarily.
First and foremost, of course you will have to sign in to your facebook account.
Step 1:There will be one down arrow on the top right corner when you are logged in to your facebook account on some computer/desktop. Now, you have to click on this down arrow. This is shown in the below figure:
Step 2:After clicking on the down arrow, a drop down list will get open like below image. In that drop down you must be seeing a 'Settings' button, now you will have to click on 'Settings' in that:
Step 3: After clicking on 'Settings', a new page will get open. In this page you will see 'Security' in the left side of the page. Now you need to click on this security button.
Now on the right side, there will be an option of 'Deactivate your account'. In this you will have to click on 'Edit'.
Step 4: After clicking on 'Edit' , a new prompt will get open, now you need to click on 'Deactivate your account'.
Step 5: Here, You will be asked to enter your facebook account password. So enter your account password and click on 'Confirm' button. This is shown in the below image for illustration.
Step 6: After confirming your password, you will be asked for the reason to deactivate the account. (This is just like a feedback or information purpose). Select appropriate option and click on Deactivate button.
Congratulations!! You have deactivated your facebook account. Now, you can be more focused on your work or study, what ever it is. :)
